  2. Read Articles One, Two and Three of the Constitution! In addition to those powers the U.S. Supreme Court (in the case of Marbury Versus Madison, 1803) said in the majority decision written by Chief Justice of the United States John Marshall:

    "All laws which are repugnant to the Constitution are null and void".

    That created the power of judicial review where the Courts can determine if a law is constitutional or not.

  3. Are you serious?  This is pretty much the bulk of the Constitution and thousands of books have been written on the topic... to vast to cover here.

    President can nominate for the Supreme Court and ambasadors

    Congress can delcare war

    S. Court.... uh, the Court really didn't get most of it's powers until later, and is pretty weak in the original Constitution... I'll have too look that up.
