  1. Nursing schools usually require biology, anatomy, 2-3 chemistry courses, math through pre-calculus.  Some schools require a CNA certification (certified nursing assistant), as this covers a great deal that would otherwise be handled in the first semester (learning how to move patients, and basic health and hygiene issues).  


  2. It depends on the school, and the level of education you are going to pursue (i.e. 2-year RN degree or 4-year BSN/RN). Most programs require several semesters of MAC, Chem, Bio, Human Physiology, and other related courses. You can usually find the requirements for a college (such as a college of nursing) on the college's website. Hope that helps!
