What are the precious metals!?

Question

I heard its gold palladium silver steel brass and other non fereous metals. I know the precious stones are jade, sapphire, diamond, etc.

help, I dont know anything about this stuff and I want to start collecting.

Definitely gold, silver and platinum.  Maybe palladium.  Definitely not steel silver or brass.
