We have just affiliated a rugby league club to play in our semi professional competition. Please assist by sending sample forms and letters to send around seeking for players and sponsorship.

History:

Founded in 2002, The Coven is committed to offering opportunities for women of all ages to play rugby at either the recreational or competitive levels.

Our inaugural season was more successful than even we had hoped. We began the season as most new clubs do -- playing short and praying for new arrivals -- but by the end of the season, we had over 30 players registered and, although victory eluded us, we ended the season well pleased with both the experience and our progress.

Personal highlights included the selection of Brianna Hennessy to the Canadian Under-19 Women's Team. Brianna joins our club captain, Sheila Schindel, who is listed with the National Under-23 squad.

The 2003 season has started with a bang -- The Coven recording its first victory at the Oshawa Tournament on May 20th
