When I was there they were from $60-$75. It's VERY worth it to attend a reptile show near you and purchase one there. I spent $4 to get into the show and purchased a healthy baby cornsnake for $13. You have a MUCH higher chance of getting a healthy animal from a breeder than those pet shops.

They are usually 60-75 dollars,  while attending a reptile show would be a much cheaper idea, they are not always easily accessible and I personally have never received an unhealthy snake from a petshop.

Those sold at my Petco are $39.99 and sometimes are on sale for $29.99.  You could go to the forums and buy one from one of the many excellent breeders and you'll know it is healthy and well cared for.  I got one that way shipped across the country and she was very healthy...they come in lots of colors you won't find at Petco!

reptile show are cheaper and the animals were cared for better. but 40-70 bucks
