  1. Traditionally, televisions use three colors to construct an image: red, green, and blue.  

    However, some modern televisions (including models from Mitsubishi and Samsung) use technology called BrilliantColor to also use cyan, magenta and yellow light to construct images with more true color.


  2. The colors used for TVs are red, blue, and green.

    I always thought they would be primary colors (red, blue and yellow) but I was mistaken.  I'm not sure why it's green instead of yellow, but it is. :)
