There aren't very much, just that you get a little nice Top Contributor thing under your avatar picture.

The privilege of being a Top Contributor is that, their answers are never ignored.

For example, someone asked a question and got 45 answers.

Now everyone will not read all the 45 answers....but the Top Contributor badge always catches the eye of the readers....and this is why the Top Contributors usually have higher Thumbs Up rating than the users who are not Top Contributors.

It's a fact and I've noticed it with myself...I get more thumbs up now...and also read the answers given by the Top Contributors first.
