What are the pro's and con's of the Canon Rebel XTi?

I really would like to know. It looks like a really good camera but I'm sure there are some negatives.

Pros and cons are often subjective. Something that is a pro to you may be a con to others (for example, some like their cameras heavy, so they're more steady in their hands, while others prefer a light haul, just to make one example)....

I have had one for nearly a year, and have had no problems with it.   If I had to do it over again, I would buy the same camera.  It has been an extremely popular one.

I own one and consider it a very good low-end professional camera.  My better camera is a Canon 30D

I bought mine from B&H out of New York City.  You can't beat their prices!

Pros--

Lightweight for a digicam

Easy to use

Price is great for entry-level digicam

Con--

Surface scratches easily

Built-in flash often gets stuck and then doesn't work
