What are the pro's and cons of having a 500cc motor opposed to a 250cc?

it all depends on what you want to do, are you riding a dirt bike, or a street bike, is it a 2 stroke or a four stroke, what kind of riding will you be doing like racing, trail riding or cruising?????? it all depends......

pros---- you gotta be crazy to RACE a 500cc dirtbike

cons--- you gotta be crazy to RACE a 500cc dirtbike.

500cc motor will have more power, but most 250s will be lighter. Sometimes, you can only race a 250 in your first year, but that all depends on the organizer.
