  1. Please don't turn to a biased community to find out the truth. Turn to historians and scholars who only present you facts that you can then use to make your own opinions. Ideally, I would say to go to the public library to check out history books. However, I'm assuming you're looking for a quick answer, so I'll refer you to the following.

History from someone with a Yale PhD in Political Science: http://www.michaelparenti.org/Tibet.html

    Article from UCLA: http://www.international.ucla.edu/articl...

  2. White American please don't distrot Chinese history!

Tibet had been part of China over 700 years!

  3. It's a good thing that it's not on the news! Search for Chinese/Tibet history. Look for none biased articles. That means don't go to CNN,Fox,BBC for articles on Tibet, and don't go to Chinese News web site for articles neither. Use your own opinion.

  4. As others have said you have to read Tibetan and Chinese history from the various sources out there. A good start is the from the Yuan dynasty ca 1245ish. History before that is not really irreverent ie ca~800
