  1. "I love my pug" has given you some good tips on how to create creativity.

How ever parents need to interact with the children, by talking with their children and encourage their children in free play, talking, reading and expression through music, singing, play acting, cooking and the opportunity to participate in sports.  And when they make a mistake or the outcome is not what they thought is would be, tell them that is OK, after we all learn through mistakes and trial.

Having being given the opportunity to try different things, children learn how to be creative and how to think & plan an activity, as well as learn problem solving skills.

"Creativity is allowing your self to make mistakes. Art is knowing which one to keep"  Scott Adams

    How we encourage Creativity?

Provide an environment that allows the child to explore and play without undue restraints.

Adapt to children's ideas rather than trying to structure the child's ideas to fit the adult's.

Accept unusual ideas from children by suspending judgment of children's divergent problem-solving.

Use creative problem-solving in all parts of the curriculum. Use the problems that naturally occur in everyday life.

Allow time for the child to explore all possibilities, moving from popular to more original ideas.

    Emphasize process rather than product.

  2. I don't think there is a problem with developing creativity in children.  Have you ever listened to a child.  They are creative all on their own.

I find it very useful to allow children many resources to be creative such as:

    paper (variety of colors)

    writing instruments

    glue

    paint

    scissors

    variety of manipulatives

    variety of toys

    dress up clothing

    musical instruments

    sensory activities

All of these things allow children to explore new ways of doing things and in turn allows them to be creative.  I find that when they are given examples of the way an art project should look...that inhibits their natural instincts and creativity.  Just allow them to do.

  3. if you must know me as a student it is other students im a 8th grader . this is 100% accurate trust me

  4. Parents who are not creative, teachers who are not creative, and lazy kids. Too many children are exposed to an abundance of noisy, flashy toys. No need to pretend or create anymore.

  5. it depends on childern environment so parents must create a well environment to develop their creativity

  6. A lack of adult interaction with the child and too much stimulation from non-human sources (TV's, computers, toys, etc.).  Children develop creativity by interacting with their parents, with other children, and by being required to entertain themselves.  Children also develop creativity by imitating the adults around them.

Ways to develop creativity include (1) turning off or throwing away all the TV's in the house; (2) seriously limiting time with computer and video games; (3) seriously limiting time with toys that do everything for the child.  The best toys to buy children are the ones that don't talk, walk, make noise, move, etc.
