  1. If you are trying to weld the pipe to a living person, they will complain and you might get fired.  This is true of both carbon and stainless pipe.


  2. Be more specific.  You just asked a question that could fill a couple of books.  

    What kind of components?  Cast, forged...etc.  Depending on the thickness... over an inch, of carbon steel, heat treating is involved.

    Like I said... BE MORE SPECIFIC.

  3. What are the alloys, types of fittings, joint design,How is this system going to be used? Do you have a welding procedure? There are so many questions that need to be answered. Your question is much too broad,  I side with the inspector from the previous entry. The biggest problem would be the untrained welder. He needs to be well educated in all aspects. Once he strikes an arc, the responsibility becomes all his.
