  1. Democrats believe in welfare which means taking from the working and giving to the non-working!

  2. In a nutshell, the problems with welfare is that the people who really need it can be denied while others are able to scam the system.

Some examples I've seen personally are people who apply for assistance when they have one or two children. Then they continue to have more children and receive more benefits.  I've heard of a woman who has 6 or more kids and when it looks like her benefits will be decreased because the kids are getting older, she will get pregnant again.

Another problem is that these people are not made to get out and find work. Some only have to get a paper signed by an potential employer stating that they won't hire them.  If the welfare recipient approaches employers that has no openings there is no danger that they will get a job.  The system is not monitored very well or something. The people who outsmart the system are definitely not stupid.  They are capable of getting jobs, they just don't want to.

  3. The problem is it`s being subverted for use by illegal aliens and the fact it`s being used by some families generation after generation.
