What are the procedures of maiking a wall into a bar?

in my kitchen i have a wall that i want to make into a bar to oped it into the living room becase it is a really small valley style kitchen.what are the procedures that i have to go through and what are the costs?

Before you do anything, find someone who can tell you if it's a load-bearing wall or not.  If it is, you are obviously looking at  more structural work and additional costs.
