What do you think? Do you think McCaine made a wise choice in choosing Palin as his running mate, or do you think that he's out of his mind and that's the last nail in the coffin in his race for the presidency. Please give detail reasons why.

  1. I think that McCain's choice for VP nominee is pretty good. Having said that I can understand the concerns some may have about Sarah Palin. Mainly her lack of experience in Washington. But, looking at her from a different angle this may be more of a plus than a minus.

If you believe that Obama has more experience in Washington, you are right. But he didn't do a whole lot while a Senator, now did he.

As for Palin, the few short years she has been in politics she has gotten a great deal done.

  2. So Governor Palin is a staunch anti-choice religious conservative. She's a global warming denier who shares John McCain's commitment to Big Oil. And she's dramatically inexperienced.

In picking Sarah Palin, John McCain has made the religious right very happy. And he's made a very dangerous decision for our country.

In the next few days, many Americans will be wondering what McCain's vice-presidential choice means.

  3. Palin needs to take her family back to Alaska to take care of her mentally ill child an help her daughter to go through that emotional moment! What kind of mother is she?

  4. I think that a mother of a small baby with special needs may have more important things to do than be vice president.  Sorry, but how is she going to raise this baby?  Most presidents in our history did not have babies in the white house.

  5. Coupled with Obama's choice of running mate, it further exposes Obama's empty promise of "change we can believe in".

Biden hasn't managed to get elected to anything outside of Delaware, and he's had 35 years to try.

  6. Well shes pro life and very attractive

  7. it's been called a Hail Mary that's not going to work

  8. It's going to be the funnest race I've ever witnessed and I've seen a few.

I think it is a great choice, and the only cons I see are that some Conservative men will have to re-think some of their personal views.  I do not think this is at all bad.

  9. Mccain made a great pick.

Palin has more political experience than Obama (Palin started in 92, Obama in 97).  Palin has political executive experience as a Mayor and Governor which Obama & Biden do not have.  Governors are FAR more likely to be President than Senators are and now Mccain can fall back on that experience but Obama can't.  Palin brings in international affairs experience from a political executive experience which is a big plus (with her work with Russia & Canada).   And she comes off as a regular mom which is a big plus.  Mccain benefits from Palin far more than Obama can from Biden.

Obama really needed a someone that seemed like Moderate and was a Governor as a running mate to offset him being seen as a Liberal Senator.  But he picked a Liberal Senator just like him.  that was a bad mistake.   Mccain needed someone who can be seen as a Conservative Governor to offset him being seen as a Moderate Senator

  10. Come on , people. Sarah Palin is like if your relative was asked to be VP, she's not some corporate owned elitist (Romney) or a dullard (Pawlenty) or a guy who is too laid back (Huckabee). He picked a woman, a good woman! She's not Hillary, she's better than Hillary! He picked a woman that Hillary wish she was: She's kind, wise, likeable, and isn't full of it. I'd call that a winning combo! And think about it, she'd make a good first female President, you gotta admit that. Personally I prefer if it was a Biden/Obama vs. Palin/McCain ticket but we can't all have a perfect election. So Sarah Palin all the way!!!! Woohoo!!!!

  11. Palin's "...articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking..."

    AND CHANGE NOT another Lawyer!

And if J Biden's so good why such a poor showing in the D Primaries?!? Rejected, damaged goods???

  12. People say Obama doesn't have the experience but I don't see where

this Palin has any either. Being a mayor or Governor doesn't qualify

you about foreign policies and other things. I think Mcclain just wanted

to pick a woman as he seen how popular Hillary was so he thinks this

will help him get elected. But instead it will be 4 more years of the past!

  13. Pros:

    Big... ah...guns. Good mom.

    Cons:

Couldn't be elected dog-catcher outside of Alaska. Too little experience.

  14. Great choice.

I love the way unhinged BDS suffering libs whine about her 'lack of experience' when their lacking candidate for prez, Hussein, has 143 days experience.

She has more executive experience than both Biden and Hussein combined.

Don't unhinged libs realize they are the bigoted, intolerant, devisive party, yet?

  15. pro;  shes a hot mom
