  1. I can assure you that my mother having been a diabetic for some years before her demise that there is no valid medical reason to administer marijuana in any manner for this particular medical illness, in that there is not potential curative properties from the plant that would effect a patient's medical condition to the good or worse.

  2. I don't believe there are any ingredients in the marijuana plant that would help with diabetes, unless of course you have any associated kidney pain as I use marijuana as opposed to morphine, pethidine and codeine for my kidney pain.  And i'll tell you at least after smoking marijuana I do not feel 'space out' if you will.  I awake feeling refreshed and not zombie like as I would if I had used the morphine or pethadine.

However for diabetes alone I don't see how or what it could help with.

    Hope this helps.

  3. *BUZZZZZZ* Wrong to the first answers to this question.

Marijuana is often considered a wonder drug because there are many active compounds found in marijuana that have many different purposes. Each of these can have benefits for different illnesses.

    Read the sources.

  4. its hard to tell

the united states has banned cannabis research ever sense the 1930

we still can research with coke, heroin and amphetamines but for some reason we weren't allowed to before

I'm a biochemistry major out of college and when I go to California this fall it's still technically illegal for my research entities to experiment with the drug even though the state says its ok

The thing is just because you kids on yahoo local *(with whatever chemistry and medical training you have) don't think it has medical value for what ever reason

that doesn't mean we shouldn't hope and try
