  1. If you think that you get clowns with a two party system just try a multiple party system. You'll get "real" clowns.

    The overall con is resistance to change.

    The reason is because a multi-party system increases the chance of extremist leaders, who would try to change things more quickly, for better or worse.

    The con is that the system is easily manipulated, meaning that the people who are really in control select the candidates from each side. So it doesn't really matter who wins, because those in control always get their man in.
