What are the pros and cons of an Army ROTC college scholarship?

Looking for people who have gone thru a college ROTC program on scholarship. How did you decide between active duty or National Guard or Reserves? What are the pros and cons of each of those choices? Any help in this regard is appreciated.

With the National Guard you most likely will not go over seas but you will be more active over here. In the Reserves you will likely go verseas but when you are here you only have to show up one weekend a month. I recommend the National Guard. My uncle just retired from there.
