What are the pros and cons of getting paid by cheque than cash? Does paying by cheque benefit the employer?

I think getting paid by check is just common practice, and gives everyone a trail of payment by paper.  the employer has to be able to prove they paid you, and be able to prove how much they paid you to the Government,  for records and taxes.

When an employer pays by cash, they do that to avoid any records, and not pay taxes,  they're cheating the government, they will also cheat you!

lol do you mean check? and i think its just easier so the business doesnt have to have like 3000 dollors on hand to pay employees and its more safe to use a bank account.

It's better for employers to pay by check, because they can track it for business expenses and taxes better than cash.  It's also better for employees, for the same reason.
