  1. No pros just a long laundry list of cons here are a few:

There were 3 million  illegals in the US before the Regan amnesty of 1986.

Today there are close to 20 million.

Amnesty results in more illegals entering the US.

It's no different than giving criminals a get out of jail free card.

  2. Illegal immigrants will help and plus the fine they are going to get will at least pay what this country is loosing at war......!!!!!

Also it is going to be good  for the baby boomers who are going to retire soon... so there wont be shortage of money...

Illegal immigration will never end because there are new generations who are going to come but that is why trying to enforce the security at every border...... and keep trying..... working together and since this country is going down and I don't think it is because of illegals it is because of the war..... there needs to be something  done .....

  3. I don't think there are any pros....it has been done before under President Reagan. The cons are obvious. Look where we are now. I believe in order to make the right decisions in the future we must look at what happened in the past. Nothing is new under the sun.

  4. PROS -

Billions in taxes will continue to be paid by the immigrants.

Billions in dollars from purchases will continue to pour in helping out the economy.

Farmers will not have to raise their prices on products.

Farmers will not continue to move their farms to Mexico (it's already happening).

US families that have been here for generation will not have to consider shutting down their farms.

Retiring baby boomers will still receive their retirement checks because of the immigrants contributions to the system.

Schools will continue to receive those extra tax dollars from the rent that immigrants pay.

Businesses will continue to grow and make big profits.

The hard labor work will continue to be done Better, Faster and Cheaper.

    CONS -

    The opposite of everything above.

More people to blame for their own problems, and American Citizens will feel pressured to get out and do work they don't really want to do.

Immigrants boost economy — but how much?

  5. Pros --- None!

Cons -- It is not fair to those who have gone through the Normal and Legal process.   It is not fair for those who are going through the Normal and Legal process.

How would you feel if you were waiting for your paperwork to go through to become a citizen then suddenly 20 million people (who did not submit any paperwork at all) were given amnesty????

  6. No pros and too many cons for me to post.

  7. Pros-

Keeping the America as America is a land made up of immigrants.

    Keep families together.

    Increase in PAID taxes.

    More businesses.

Remodeled neighborhoods. Immigrants take good care of their properties.

Increase in property value because immigrants love to own their own houses.

    Cons-

Americans will keep pointing the finger at immigrants for the messes Americans made before immigrants started coming over in large numbers.

  8. Biggest con-the amnesty of 1986 was supposed to end illegal immigration. It was a dismal failure, both financially and by serving to encourage more to come expecting a repeat amnesty.

It is time to learn from past mistakes and not repeat them.

  9. There are no pro's.  Greasey tony has listed several, but most of themwe only work if the illegals were willing to stick it out in America, rather then head back across the boarder after getting a big stash of cash.

ILLEGALS DON'T HELP LOWER THE COST OF PRODUCTS..... They help lower the cost of overhead, and it has been proven by ISU, that it is not reflected in the pprice of the product.

Importing food from Mexico/South America has been proven to be a failed venture. G.W. has allowed several times for produce to be shipped into the U.S. , and look at what happened to our food supply because of it.

We can't afford the high cost of illegal aliens. We need to seal our borders, and end free trade.

    FIGHT THE NAU.

Deport illegals, and keep the dream alive.
