Are they less sturdy? Will they make a difference in thickness between the lenses more obvious?

  1. Its more about style then anything else. They have the ability to make lens more powerful and thin at the same time. You pay for this option but its there.

  2. Rimless have a better look in most cases while the full frame is stronger

  3. Well, rimless is more easy to be broken than semi-rimless.

You can make the lenses more thin if you pay for it, so I don't think it doesn't differ from the frame.

It's about style, actually. If you look better in rim-less, then you should get that one!

  4. Pros: A little more s**y, more visibility, less glare(only slightly though), and they are known to be cheaper.

Cons:  Less sturdy, prone to break more than usual, and they get bent out of shape easier.
