What are the pros and cons of the national lottery??

I have been given set work to find advantages and disadvantages to the national lottery!!! Please can i have some help!

  1. Pro- You could win a lot of money!

    Con- You waste money buying lottery tickets!


  2. Pro: You will make those who run the lottery rich

    Contra: You'll get poor.

  3. The biggest "con", or disadvantage of the lottery is that it is a tax on poor people.  Less intelligent people tend to be poor and less intelligent people tend to play the lottery.  When William Buckley called it "the Stupid Tax", that was the last time I played it.
