I am considering getting the lg keybo, from telus. I am wondering is it a overall good phone ?

I would like to know the pro's and con's of the phone.

If you give me good answers, I will give you good ratings.

If you wish to know about the phone, search up LG KEYBO TELUS on google. Have fun!

  1. I have a Keybo for my own usage. The texting is amazing. I've never been a good (fast) texter on the phone but its' just like a computer keyboard. It really is perfect for texting.

Sound quality is also really good. I had my doubts about lack of flipping to answer the phone but the earpeice and the mouthpeice are well placed for you to hear the other person and they can still hear you. Out of four cell phones I've owned and over twenty that I've talked on, the Keybo ranks in the top five for sound quality. Even with background noise, its like talking on a normal cordless "landline."

Pocket dialing is a bit of an issue, but if you lock the keyboard with the keyguard, then you shouldn't have much of a problem.

It has a Lithium Ion battery, which is a plus - little or no overcharge if you leave it on the charger all the time.

The only other problem I've had so far - more of a bother than a problem - is the fact that you have to press the menu button (or the OK button) twice to receive a call, or to start a call or text or anything. This is getting less annoying as I get used to my phone, however - it's becoming second nature to just click the button twice and dial away.

If you're looking for a text phone, this is it. It's above average for a talking phone, in my opinion.

Finally, I just think the white backlit keys are cute and the soft glow is really nice for texting in the dark.

Biggest con: Good luck finding one! I had to pay $225 for a "Pay-and-Talk" Keybo (vs a 3 year contract Keybo) because the non-bundled ones were out.

  2. yeah its a pretty sick phone i really like it.. the only thing is it looks pretty bad in tight jeans. but its so sweet for textin and emails i love it
