I have pretty much decided on these 2 sets. Now i need some insight on which one might be the better fit. I want a really forgiving set, but I dont want to sacrifice distance either. Right now with the cheap starter set Im using, i am averaging 180-185 with my 5 iron....just to give you an idea of where Im at right now.

  1. I have Big Bertha's and love them. At address I feel like I can not miss the ball. I have not hit the x20's but they are advertised as forgiving as the Big Bertha's but with a thinner profile, like blades.

Your distance w/ your 5 iron? Doesn't matter how far you are hitting as much as where you are hitting. What good is a 185 yrd 5 iron if your off to the left rough or the right side bunker.

Hit both sets and note which one you make better contact with as well as the look of the club at address. The combination of those two starts you on the path of confidence.

When you love your clubs and you take lessons to learn how to use them, then you will really feel good about how much you spent on them.

  2. Go with the X20's very forgiving.
