One of the least known aspects of this research right now is Mike Brown's tabletop model of a Tesla System which pulls lightning out of the sky, using it to charge a capacitor, and then extracting the energy for electric power. He claims it is based on Tesla technology.

What can one person do with a billion volts and a large amount of current? That's actually a good problem to have. Saying I have an advanced technology and saying I have more control over an energy source is really saying the same thing. We have the technology to cleanup the environment as Buckminster Fuller pointed out. We just don't have the cheap available energy to run the technology.
