What are the qualities of a good friend? What do you want and need from a friend? What are you willing to give a friend?

Reciprocation.  I have a friend who, if at all possible, won't tell me "no" if I need a favor.  I do the same for her.  We also have a good bit in common--but not everything.  Also, neither friend can be too needy.

A good friend will listen to and accept you without judgment.  

I think I'm a wonderful friend.  I am always there if my friends need me and will go to the mat for them.  Heck, I'll even still try to stick up for a friend after they hurt me!

someone who knows all your warts and still supports and loves you while having the ability to slap you upside the head when you need it...I would do the same for them.
