  1. I think the qualities of a good parent is one that loves their child unconditionally which includes loving them enough to punish them when they've done wrong, treats them with respect but demands respect in return, teaches that child how to respect and be kind to others, is a good listener to what their child needs, and a parent who loves THEMSELF enough to realize that their child(ren) are gifts and to shower them with love and attention.

  2. There are many qualities out there that adds to someone being a good parent, however my list shows you what I feel makes a good parent:

    Someone who is patient

Someone who supports their child by helping them with homework, or showing up for their plays...etc.

Someone who will set by example

Someone who is loving and gentle

    Someone who is consistent

    Someone who sets reasonable boundaries

    Someone who is nurturing

Someone who makes the child feel like their voice is being heard.

Someone who spends quality time with their child

  3. Loving, caring, understanding and lots and lots of patence.

  4. Patience is probably the most important quality a parent can have.

  5. Patient, Loving, Understanding, Reliable, Constant.

Love them with all of your heart, and spend as much time with them as you can.  Just remember to teach them good goals and be firm with them when you need to. And kids can never have too many hugs or kisses :)

  6. One is probably never treating their kid as though they are more of a sibling than their own child.

  7. a good parent isn't afraid to discipline their kids, so they will grow up to be polite and respectful.  however, they also teach them when it is right to question authority.

they are approachable and their kids feel like they can tell them anything about their life.  they don't pressure for details but act interested and give good advice so the kids will come back for more.  they never say "i told you so".

they don't let you slack off and push you to be better.  they are proud of you when you succeed.

they love their kids' friends and make them all feel welcome around their house.

they always do things for their kids before themselves and make lots of sacrifices if needed.

they raise their kids to know the love of God, don't yell unless necessary, and don't nag too much (just enough).
