  3. A democracy is a government by the people.  The supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them.  Any citizen can run for office.  Free and fair elections are held at regular intervals.  

  4. It's means a government by the people and for the people. We are a representative democracy that is free, sort to speak. It gives the power to the people, provides a respectful and responsive representative government that operates under the rule of law. A democracy can also change the government representatives if they do not serve the people.

  5. America is not a Democracy (mob rule). It is a Constitutional Republic.
