  1. excellent 70/100

    good 80/110

    fair 90/120

poor higher than 100/higher than 140

  2. If you mean diastolic and systolic then they are as follows:

    Adults ranges

    Low Systolic

between 50 ~(coma status) and 90. 100 is considered low norman

    Low Diastolic

Between 10 (coma) to 60 (though 60 can be considered normal in children and athletes.

    Normal range systolic

100 (low normal) to 140 (high normal)

So lets say 125/75 would be ideal for healthy adult. In the UK systolic is above diastolic in readings.

    Normal range Diastolic

    60 (low normal/athletes/children) to 90 (high normal)

    High range systolic

140 - 180 requires treatment if regular reading.

    High range diastolic

95 - 120 Needs monitoring and treating elevated risk of stroke and heart disease.

    Severe high Range systolic

190 - 230+ immediate treatment usually a bolus dose of diuretic/beta blocker or ace inhibitor.

    Severe high Diastolic

    120 - 140 + as above

Both cause stressed, red blotchy patients with increased risk of heart disease, cardio vascular heart disease, stroke and indeed death.

    Hope that helps x
