  1. usually the rate for studding your male dog is the cost of one puppy. however it can be broken down. the cost of a puppy will depend on the bloodline and the health and breed of your dogs. you want to make sure if your dog has a great health record and hip, heart, eye, and dna certifications such as OFA and OFE, you want to make sure the b***h you breed him with has the same. you may or may not be successful in making the connection to have puppies and the owner of the b***h dog may feel cheated. in order for it to seem fair, you may want to suggest a down payment of a fourth or a half of the fee up front. that way you receive payment for your attempts to breed them. In the event that you are successful in getting the dogs locked together it is pretty much guaranteed that the b***h is pregnant. documenting each time the dogs get stuck together and how long they stay stuck together is very important when breeding. it ensures and honest agreement between two dog owners. once the dogs make the connection and you have documented such, the owner of the b***h will be more confident in paying the remaining fee when picking her up from the stud home. if they did not make the connection you received a fee for serviced rendered and nothing more is owed. agree to try again on the next heat and the same agreement may apply. it is a lot of work trying to connect the two together at the proper time. it takes a lot of time of the breeders part to assure comfort and plenty of room for both dogs. i am a breeder of very prominent and sophisticated  German Shepherd bloodline. i am proud of this breed because of the many things they are capable of if bred properly. any other questions you may contact me at ericiaoquinn@yahoo.com
