  1. usually 1-10 is the ratio. i have heard of two teachers to 30 kids as a norm.


  2. My class is in a Head Start here in the United States. My class follows the same ratios as the other classes. My class is currently 2 teachers to 17 three-five year olds part-day. Ratios are set by each program, there is no 'set' number except for state-guidelines for maximum ratio. As for funding, again this is a federal preschool, so the school is free for low-income families. Reggio can be found in many schools, and all have different rules and funding sources.
