  1. I'm soooo sad he lost! I mean, he's tha best tennis player ever! rafa was reallt good yesterday though and he deserved to win. I don't no why Federer didn't use the 12 break points, but I still admire him for the 25 aces and the ability to stay calm in a situation where he has to defend a championshim point! He really played great too, but Rafa simply played a little beter. They are both amazing and I was honored to even watch a match like that, and you all should be too. And do not write Federer off just like that, his era isn't still over. I'm surehis gonna kisk *** for a long long time in the future! So, congrats to Rafa, but I stil think Roger is the king of tennis.

  2. Because of the curse. Nobody supposed to win 6 wimbledon title in a row. That's the limit....

  3. The main reason he lost was because he couldn't break Nadal's serve. In my opinion Nadal played a better game than Federer, but I was really hoping Federer would win.

  4. The courts were slower.  Federer allowed reporters' stupid questions about Nadal to get into his head. He made bad decisions. He made too many unforced errors. He was frustrated, instead of his normal cool.

Nadal did play excellent! Not taking away from that, but just pointing things out from Fed's pov.

  5. Well I think that it was just one thing on Federer's side he wasn't himself he played worse then his potenial now don't get me wrong he had alot of nice shots and a very sucessful comeback but he wasn't normal something was wrong with him to lose today.

Nadal played really well he executed his shots perfectly and deserved to win it.

I would have loved to see Federer win his 6th consecutive one but they both played fanomnally and it was the best final ever in the history of Wimbeldon.

Not to mention it was 4 hours and 30 minutes long thats crazy that they both lasted through that.

  6. Nadal is the King of Grass Courts

  7. The #1 reason is that Nadal was better.

    Plain and simple.

And if Roger Federer hadn't had 25 aces in his arsenal to save him at those critical times, the match would have been over at the third set.

  8. its simple he cant run like federer

  9. i think that the 2 first games were the key here, Rafa played super good in the first 2 breaking federer about twice and the crowd was going nuts for Rafa. federer had lots of break chances but he did not took advantage of that, rafa was fighting every single point. roger was kinda frustrated over the fact that the crowd was i guess cheering on rafa and roger even order them to shut. for anyone that says that the court was  in bad conditions for roger, well like at the begging rafa said the courts are in the same bad condition for us both, so that wont be a factor. although both player put a good game, rafa put his heart in the last set, he knew that if he was to beat federer this was the time and this thinking is what gave him the extra motivation, he well deserves it.

  10. Nadal was able to break Federer's serve...Federer wasnt able to break nadal's.

What kept Federer in the game until the end was his aces during the tiebreaks.

  11. Roger did not consolidate his break points......Period.

  12. Federer's backhand is very weak nd everytime rafa faces him, he exploit's roger's backhand.

  13. Because Nadal managed to break Federer's serve, but Federer couldn't break his, especially in the final match.

  14. Federer's backhand strokes gave the match away. While Federer has the most awesome backhand strokes that defeated so many opponents in the past, they just didn't work well last night (in fact, I recently noticed that those backhands had failed him on many of his lost matches this year). And yet, even on the crucial points of last night's game, he kept on using them despite of their ineffectivity and they'd mostly ended up hitting the net or overshooting the baseline. He could have won the match if only did he use forehand strokes (that are far more accurate and powerful than the backhand) on so many crucial stages of the match.

Although last night's match was a thriller and in years to come would be considered as one of the best classic matches, last night's Federer was playing below par compared to the Federer I've seen winning Wimbledon in 2004.

  15. Federer and Nadal are so well matched, it was only a matter of time before Nadal would eventually get him.  If they replayed today 100 times, I'd expect that they'd each win 50.  It's just chance

  16. I read that Federer's coach was having an affair with his girlfriend :) Maybe that's why :)

If you know who Federer's coach is, then you'll get the joke.

  17. Simple, Rafa played better. They both played great, but Rafa had a little extra in him today.
