What are the reasons why people do logging??

all i can think of is the need of woob for furniture... :-/

Wood products and by products are a huge industry!  Think about all the paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, newspaper, books, magazines) that are in our homes and we used every day.  All that comes from wood.  

The building/construction industry uses a huge quantity of wood!  Everything from building walls to making concrete forms.  Charcoal comes from a wood product too!
