What are you talking about?  What stores, where are the poles, are there red poles and also yellow poles, or are they red and yellow striped?

The only thing I can think of are the metal poles that are sometimes inserted into the ground to protect store fronts.  They stop any cars that might be out of control from crashing through the front of stores.  Is that what you mean?
