1. How long can our baby stay in china, are there any restrictions because she is half Irish?

2. How long would I be allowed to stay in china? last time I went I was told 60 days, But Im told its different now, shorter.

3. And what restrictions are there relating to traveling to china for married couples, like living and traveling and staying there? I am Irish and my wife is Chinese.

  1. I used the Rough Guide to China when I was looking for information China - I travelled there in 2002 so I can't really offer you useful information beyond that.  There are plenty of Irish people in China, teaching English, etc, you'll even find a few Irish pubs - not necessarily run by anyone Irish : ) .  My sister taught English there for a year & she was treated well, they were fascinated by her red hair.

This has some useful information, it also provides contact numbers:

    http://foreignaffairs.gov.ie/home/index....

The Lonely Planet forum also has some useful information:

This appears to have some useful information but again, ring the Embassy to find out more:
