  1. I'm going away back here.

    Do a web search on:   stamen, pistil, pollen

    Some plants are self pollinating. the pollen goes between the stamen and the pistil ( by wind).

    Other plants/trees   require an intermediary like a bee to bring pollen from another plant and cross pollinate to the stamen.
