What are the requierments for a money order?

Ok so..

I am trying to buy something off of Ebay.

This person takes money orders.

I have a bank account.

How old do you have to be to have a money order?

Is there any additional information i should know about having to get a money order..

like

Fees?

Shipping it to the person?

  1. Yes, a money order can be purchased for a small fee from your bank, post office and, I believe, even some retail stores like Walmart (if you are in the U.S.)  I do not know if there is an age limit.  Then, as the previous person said, you mail it to the seller.

    EBay would recommend Paypal as the most secure way to pay for your purchase and yes, there is a tiny bit of risk if pay with a money order. However, most sellers on eBay are honest. (Just make sure that you check out their feedback rating on eBay before you bid!)


  2. You can be any age I suppose. You need an id to identify yourself preferablly two. You can get money orders at postal office and everywhere. You should that person's address. The money ordre usually costs like a buck or two. You mail it in an envelope. It's risky though, you'll never really get your money back if you are scammed on ebay.
