How do I become a teacher's assistant?

In our district you need to either have a two year degree or pass a test.  

In terms of personality and social skills, you must be able to get along with others, follow directions, think logically, be creative, allow students to do things for themselves to promote independence, be reliable, able to accept orders from the teacher, have and use common sense, and like children.
