What are the requirements for Pet Registration?

I have a 6mth old Shitzu x Maltese.

I need to know the Legal Requirements please...

Do i need to Register her, etc...???

If in Aus yes You are required to do so from I think 6 months up and if desexed You need proof so as to get the cheaper cost(reciept stating desexing from vet) Also thier is pension rates.A dog in Qld entire dog non desexed is $84.00 per year if desexed is $37.00 per year.pesioner rates are entire dog $39.00 per year desexed is $16.00 per year.You can also have triennial registrations.I hope I have helped.

In NSW they need to be registered after 6 months, they do not need to be desexed but it is heaps cheaper if they are.Once they are registered thats it unless you change addresses or details change. Also need to be microchipped.
