What are the requirements for Security Guards in Nevada?

Have you tried to "google it". Type in something like Nevada Security Officer licensing or something to that effect. You should be able to find it that way.

There are 2 types, armed and not armed. All need a sheriff's card from the county police dept. Most likely you are talking about the Vegas area, you'll want to go to Cameron/Russell in southwest Las Vegas after you get the paperwork from your new employer. Your sheriff's card is only good for that particular location, can't use your card from one property to work a second job without getting another card. Are usually paid by the employer and not your property. A full background check is involved in the process.
