I used to work for Hilton and before that Disney reservations.  Unless things have changed a lot since then you must be 18 and you must have a credit card.  The only exception to the credit card would be a large cash deposit instead.  (This is the hotels insurance in case you trash the room.)  Also the person who is responsible for the reservation and who's name is on the card  must be present at check in.  (Your Mom for instance can't just make a reservation by phone for you with her card, she would have to be there when you check in to sign.  (However the hotel might make an exception if your Mom faxed her signature to them ahead of time.)    One more thing.  Many hotels have policies against room parties, especially for teenagers (for obvious reasons) so if that's what you have in mind check first.  If you get thrown out for rowdiness there will be no refund!
