What are the requirements in CA to get a permit?

I have finished Driver's Education online, and I think I have to take a behind the wheel class aswell, but my friends tell me differently.

Do I sign up for behind the wheel or not? It's very expenisve :/

You get your permit FIRST before getting behind the wheel.  Then you can learn from your parents (Anybody older) or from school driver's ed.

well it depends how old you are, i don't live in CA but you could always check the motor vehicles website i'm sure they'll help you
