What are the requirements to be a model?

Well not so many but if your old enough go on America's Next Top Model because they teach you how to be a model but you have to know how to do the runway a little bit and how to how to pose for photoshoots.

look on craigs list for casting calls as well as local agents to start. Most likely youll be doing promo work to start (thats if you get hired/signed to an agency) Bigger agencyes (which are in bigger cities, mostly NY and LA) want you to be at least 5'9"... be in shape, etc... there are plus size modles too but they also want tall girls. Beautiful is in the eye of the beholder... and a lot of times agencies want girls because theyre interesting looking... if you want to be a 'high fashion model'... buy a vogue and look in there... thats whats up now a days (hate to tell you) Its an artistic look more than anything...

PS if you do get signed to a smaller agency... be weary of paying mad loot for comp cards or anything... you will need some nice pictures at some point (not too early) but paying a lot of money from the beginning is probably not the best thing.

Runway models need to be able to walk in heels!! Sometimes 6 inch ;) They are always the tall ones (of course theyre are probably some 'promo' type runway shows that dont require tall girls)
