I have an AA, BA and 12 ECE units. I have 61 units in Special Education toward my Masters Degree. (No Credential). I have passed the CBEST, CSET and RICA. Do I need to have an animated and bubbly personality to reach pre-school age children in order to teach them? Helpful answers will be appreciated.

  1. Well you certaintly have the education. Maybe too qualified, but you do need to just have the desire to work with that age group, lots of patience, and seem nice during the interview. I am sure things will be fine. You don't have to have some bubbly personality. In all my years of working in that field and hiring of Teachers I hardly ever saw anyone with a "Bubbly Personality". Most of the gals were just sweet and had a genuine love for the children.
