  1. getting past 1st. grade will help.

  2. Every state has different requirements.

Public school kindergarten teachers need different schooling from private school teachers.  Private Kindergarten teachers usually need a H.S. diploma and SOME college credits in early childhood.  Public school teachers need 4 years of college and a standard certification from the state (to get this you need to student teach and pass a state test.)

Each state has a different pay scale - certain states like NJ will pay a lot more per year.  In public school, your salary goes up each year a certain increment, called a step.

While the salaries may not be enormous, the rewards of educating little ones is very rewarding! (-:

  3. For most states in the US, you need to be an elementary education teacher in order to teach all grades K-6. To do that, you must go to college and get your bachelors in a degree and then get your elementary education certification. The pay is the same as any teacher. It will start somewhere around $25,000 to $40,000 depending what school district you work in and whether the school is public or private. To be a kindergarten teacher in a private (religious or otherwise) elementary school, you would not need the certification necessarily, but you would need a bachelors.

  4. Check out FreeSchoolHelp.com, if really interested, it has a teacher certification area with names and numbers for every state on the site, so you can get to the right person to ask the specifics. Very Good and Helpful Site!

  5. try preeschool

  6. Average pay is...not so great

Requirements differ in different states...but in most of them you must recieve an elementary education degree...For my state the degree covers K-4th grade levels.  If you wish to teach anything higher, you must recieve a secondary education degree and so on...

As for others...most states are now requiring formal education to teach preschool as well

  7. Going to school............
