What are the requirements to become a secondary school history teacher for a US citizen?

I am currently attending Virginia State University in the US and majoring in history. What would be the process and requirements to teach history permanently in the UK at the secondary school level?

I'm 19 years old and in my freshman year so any help would be appreciated so that I can turn my higher education in the right direction to accomplish my goals.

I've always dreamed of becoming a teacher and always dreamed of living in the UK so I thought why not combine the two. Thanks friends across the Atlantic.

I think that you would struggle to get United Kingdom citizenship, or a work visa.
