What are the requirements to become a university Professor? What's the salary range?

Specifically a business professor. Salary range for sate and private universities in Miami, Florida.

You would absolutely need a Ph.D. in a business subject matter, generally from a respected school.  I can't give you salary figures for schools in a particular location, or for business subject matters in general, but I'll give you a link which does break things down for marketing professors at different types of universities and colleges this year.  Assume that if you were in Accounting or Finance the salaries would be higher; in Management or Business Law they would be lower.

I should also warn you that it may not be possible to pick your location as a faculty member.  Most faculty go where the jobs are.  While the market in business right now favors the candidates, you can't just decide that you will be a faculty member in a particular city.  You may get a few offers across the country and go for the best one.
