To apply for this type of visa, the following requirements must be submitted in person:

Passport valid for a minimum of 6 months and three photocopies of photo and personal information page.

4 recent pictures, passport size.

Original certificate of good conduct issued by the police department of the city or cities in which the applicant has spent 6 months or more during the last 5 years.

Original medical certificate typed on doctor's stationary verifying that the applicant is free from the following quarantine diseases: yellow fever, cholera, and the plague. The certificate must also certify that the applicant is free of drug addictions and mental illness. The employee (not the accompanying family members) must have the Doctor verify that there is no evidence of any health condition which would prevent the employee from engaging in the proposed labour activity in Spain. This medical certificate must be typed and signed by a Medical Doctor.

Valid job offer from a company located in Spain. This job offer must have been filed with the Ministry of Labour in Spain.

For the spouse of the applicant, original marriage certificate.

For the children of the applicant, original birth certificate.

If you are a resident of the USA, bring your green card.

All documents must be submitted at the Consulate of Spain in the corresponding country within 90 days of their date of issued.

Note: It is also necessary to submit  two photocopies of all the documents.

The resolution of this visa takes approximately 4 months.  Be advised that special conditions for certain situations may apply.
