  1. Your driver's license should say Angelina Jolie..huh..sorry..I could not pass that up. You need to do some research starting with requirements in your State and then our government requirements. You can find these answers on-line..just begin by googling requirements+for+adoption.

I do wish you much luck with this endeavor.

  2. I am not sure about the state your in. but i know it is cheaper to adopt a baby from another country then here. no one can give you legal advice on here on a lawyer can. but  you have to prove your home environment is safe. proof of income. and they are more likely to allow if you are married then single but you need to talk to a adoption lawyer.

  3. Depending on if you are adopting domestically or internationally, some agencies require you to be married, over 30 years old, extremely financially stable, and fairly healthy. Here is some research on health: Both partners must be physically and mentally fit, with none of the following conditions: AIDS; Mental disability; Infectious disease that is actively contagious; Blind in either eye; Hearing loss in both ears or loss of language function (those adopting children with hearing or language function loss are exempted from this requirement); Non-function or dysfunction of limbs or trunk caused by impairment, incomplete limbs, paralysis or deformation; Severe facial deformation; Severe diseases that require long-term treatment and that may affect life expectancy, including malignant tumors, lupus, nephrosis, epilepsy, etc; Major organ transplant within ten years; Schizophrenia; Severe mental disorders requiring medication for more than two years, including depression, mania, or anxiety neurosis; or Body Mass Index (BMI) of 40 or more.

  4. Check www.adoptionattorneys.org  They can provide you the necessary information.

  5. everywhere is different, but one thing is the same, money, if you have enough of it you are about 90% of the way done, just 10% of backround and other things that they check and do to make sure you arent a killer or something.

  6. I would contact a local adoption agency and ask them what are the requirements. Each state has it's own set of guidelines when it comes to adoption.

  7. Every state has different requirements, check with them.
