  1. First off you may get more answers if you post this in the motorcycle section in cars and transport as you are not racing the bike and it isn't a racing question.

Also while you may be allowed in the country you are in, to make this bike street legal (you couldn't in Australia), have you really considered how it is going to handle on the road as the bike is set up to ride mx or dirt and not roads.  It would most likely handle like a bag of p*o on the road.

Maybe you should look at some of the bikes that are already set up for road as well as dirt.   Be careful on the roads whichever you do.

  2. Put a four banger in it, along with all the other street garb...2 strokes aren't street legal in the US

  3. The only thing you need to do to get it street legal is to put Speedometer on it, and put some Turn Signals on it, then you go to the DMV and get it registered. Then your all good bro.

  4. Joe s is correct, you cannot street legalize a 2 stroke motorcycle.....

  5. Put a Baja kit and some dot knobbies on it and go have some fun. Some people are misinformed. Some states do not require you do that much. The stroke of the engine ( 2 or 4 ) has nothing to do with being street legal in most US States. Sick Red Death know's what he's talking about. I have had many 2 stroke dirt bikes that were tagged to ride on the street.
